Solar Project Manager

Country / Region: City: Paris

EDP has been in France since 2008 developing and managing wind and solar renewable energy installations. We currently have more than 600 MW of capacity under management, but we are adding new installations every year. Our installations prevent 50,000 tons of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere. We are also investing significantly in the energy of the future; through OceanWinds, we have more than 1 GW of offshore wind projects in the pipeline, including 24 MW of floating wind, in France.

EDP Energie France is part of EDP, a global energy group present in around 30 markets with a particular emphasis on renewable energies. With more than 45 years of experience, we have been consolidating a relevant presence on the world energy scene based on the commitment to be all-green by 2030, leading the energy transition. With more than 13,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.

What you will do:

As the Delivery Manager, you will contribute to EDP’s Solar Distributed Generation ambition in France by ensuring good execution of new projects. You will coordinate with local partners and subcontractors for the execution of decentralized solar projects and manage several projects simultaneously after project signature.

Integrated into our dedicated team for France, the main functions will be:

  2. Supervise development partners during the development phase, ensure development deadlines are met, help partners overcome potential development hurdles, and identify potential for internalization of development activities.
  3. Coordinate with the asset management team for the monitoring of assets in operation and ensure the correct O&M and billing operations of the providers.
  4. Support the identification of regulatory requirements in France and update technical specifications and offers to ensure compliance.
  5. Ensure personal safety and that of third parties by complying with and enforcing regulations on occupational risk prevention.
