BYD France offers a range of electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, buses & forklifts. BYD is expanding its operations in France to support a growing portfolio of New Electric Vehicle Passenger car and LCVs projects.
As Paid Media Specialist, you will:
As a key member of the marketing department, you will play an important role working with local and global stakeholders in alignment and in coordination with our agencies to develop exciting paid media campaigns which build BYD brand awareness and sales performance in each market. Supporting the media agency and markets in planning and implementing media campaigns and providing updates and results to the wider European BYD automotive team.
This role is an opportunity for anyone interested in paid media to gain experience working in a dynamic growing brand and work across Europe with campaigns covering all areas of the marketing funnel.
Key objectives and responsibilities:
- Ensure media plans are signed off on time to go live.
- Work with head of media to develop marketing strategy for BYD France.
- Work with relevant agencies to ensure creative requirements are understood for media campaigns and delivered on time.
- Liaise with markets to ensure media plans fit sales plans and needs.
- Create presentations on activity and results for senior management team to review.
- Support media team in launching all new products.
- Ensure POs are provided and invoices paid in a timely fashion.
- Assist with quarterly and annual planning of marketing budgets.
Key results:
- Web traffic driven by media campaigns.
- Growing market share in all national sales companies across France.
- Improving brand awareness and image of BYD in France.
Your profile:
- University Degree in Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines.
- Knowledge of digital and above the line media planning such as TV, OOH, and Radio.
- Effective and fluent communicator in English & French. Chinese is a plus.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in media planning and execution of 360 campaigns.
- Understanding of media market and key media owners, Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok etc.
- Knowledge of current digital media landscape and ability to optimize performance campaigns.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
- Resilient and open-minded.
- Results-oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands-on approach, motivated to get results.
