The salary scale for this role is; with Long Service increments of LSI1: 81041 & LSI2: 84282.

New Entrants to the Public Sector commence on the first point of the Scale.

In this role, you will coordinate Bord Bia's marketing campaigns in line with the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the organisation to achieve brand impact with our target audiences in EU, UK, and US.

What you'll do

  1. Oversee the planning and measurement of international marketing campaigns across key European, UK, and North American markets supporting the local teams in-market with internal guidelines and processes from the Central marketing team.
  2. Collaborate with the GBD teams in Europe, the UK, and the US to instill best practice in agency briefing, media auditing process, campaign, and impact measurement in partnership with the central marketing team.
  3. Coordinate plans, inputs, and outputs from our Chefs Irish Beef Club (CIBC) network across 9 markets to ensure we are optimising this earned endorsement and integrating it in our overall marketing mix overseas.
  4. Monitor campaign impact in the aforementioned markets through a media (paid, earned, and owned) and audience data management framework in partnership with the central marketing team, external media auditors, and campaign evaluation agencies.
  5. Advise on the development and adaptation of new creative content for campaigns in the region in line with brand guidelines and evolving EU, UK, and US claims legislation.
  6. Support the Senior Manager Global Marketing Management and assist GBD teams in managing PR agencies, particularly in terms of coordination of messaging and content and performance reporting to ensure alignment and cohesion with audience KPIs and other marketing mix components in the region.
  7. Coordinate the development of an annual B2B content plan for customer-centric marketing initiatives across customer-facing platforms (online, offline, paid, owned, and earned channels) in a range of languages in partnership with our global customer content supplier.
  8. Develop regional briefs for marketing communications agencies and work with them to devise and implement targeted transnational strategies and plans in line with budget allocations and KPI targets.
  9. Manage relevant assigned budgets for global marketing communications in line with Bord Bia's strategy, processes, and guidelines.

About You

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities

Knowledge:

  1. 3 years experience as a marketing practitioner with experience managing Marketing Communication projects from planning through to evaluation.
  2. Having worked with marketing communications agencies and as part of a wider global team.
  3. Significant budget and KPI management experience.
  4. B2B and B2C experience across paid, earned, and owned media.
  5. International experience in the EU, UK, or US markets.
  6. Audience-centric focus to ensure campaigns achieve cut through with target audience.
  7. Degree level qualification in marketing with additional certification or qualifications in digital marketing.

Skills & Capabilities:

  1. Digital first mindset with high digital/technical skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-oriented business environment.
  2. Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills to ensure excellent cross-functional working and to ensure clarity and consistency of plans and campaigns.
  3. Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.

Knowledge:

  1. Food and drinks industry experience an advantage.
  2. SEO and SEA expertise an advantage.
  3. Marketing Mix Modelling experience an advantage.

Skills & Capabilities:

  1. Fluency in other European languages an advantage.
  2. Growth mindset to ensure campaigns deliver on agreed Marketing effectiveness measures.
