Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership: Supervising and managing a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  2. Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service by interacting with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.
  3. Inventory Management: Overseeing stock levels, inventory ordering, receiving shipments, and maintaining proper product displays to ensure items are adequately stocked and presented.
  4. Sales and Revenue Generation: Setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to increase store revenue and achieve financial goals.
  5. Visual Merchandising: Ensuring that the store is visually appealing and organized, including arranging displays, shelves, and signage to attract customers and promote products.
  6. Operations Management: Managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, security, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
  7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and adhering to budgetary guidelines to maximize profitability.
  8. Promotions and Marketing: Collaborating with the marketing team to plan and execute sales promotions, special events, and advertising campaigns to drive foot traffic and sales.
  9. Vendor Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and negotiate favorable terms.
  10. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring the store complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety standards.
  11. Reporting: Generating and analyzing various reports related to sales, inventory, employee performance, and other operational aspects to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  12. Problem Solving: Addressing operational challenges, customer complaints, and employee issues in a timely and effective manner.
  13. Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for store staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities.
  14. Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to achieve store goals, improve efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the supermarket.
  15. Community Engagement: Participating in community events, building relationships with local organizations, and fostering a positive store image within the community.

Qualifications

  • Maximum Age 40 Years, Proficient in English is a plus
  • Have SIM A and C
  • Previous 3 years experience in company, Modern Trade - Manufacture, Food or Beverage Factory, preferably in management position
  • Accustomed to think strategy, problem solving, have high analysis
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
