Onsite Support Specialist (Rueil-Malmaison, French, English, full time)

We are currently looking for an experienced Onsite Support Engineer / Site Infrastructure Manager to join our team nearby Paris, in Rueil-Malmaison, France. A great opportunity to work in the IT field with exposure to new technologies and international environment. The opportunity has a strong focus on service orientation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed
2. Provide hands on technical support to internal users
3. Manage departmental (and therefore business) IT risks; identifying, mitigating and recommending solutions to Head of IT
4. Knowledge of and adherence to TIS & EUX global policies and procedures
5. Coordinate business development activities such as identification and communication with client
6. Ensure the existing and future of IT Service and Support aligns to the expectations of our Business roadmap and overall our client's strategy
7. Execution/coordination of local projects at the site
8. Escalation point for help/service desk and on site 2nd level support
9. Liaison with internal/external service lines and 3rd party vendors
10. Assist with planning and forecasting for IT related items at the site (in accordance with the Country IT Head)
11. Implementation of local application enhancements and provide local application support (where required)
12. Provide IT feedback where required; ensure customer satisfaction while continuously improving services at the site.
13. Execute/coordinate any security or compliance remediation activities as per IGM Guidelines (where required)
14. Problem analysis and resolution; must be available as required to handle issues and service outages
15. Oversight of local IT Support resources
16. Business stakeholder management
17. Review and align IT budgetary numbers with local financial team for the site
18. Participate and assist with global IT initiatives (where required)

1. A strong understanding of Information Technology; trends, products and solutions
2. Experience of maintaining high performing service support functions including IT Service Desk, Desktop Support and 2nd line technicians
3. Knowledge of business development, especially spotting and developing business opportunities with the customer
4. Customer focused with a passion and drive for customer satisfaction and delivering business values
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong service orientation
6. Willingness to travel when required
7. Multitasking as well as ability to "think outside of the box"
8. Fluent in English and native or near-native in French
