As part of its ambition to get to net zero by 2050, Company is building a portfolio of activities in renewables and electricity. At the end of 2021, the Company gross renewable electricity generation capacity is more than 10 GW. Company will continue to expand this business to reach 35 GW of gross production capacity from renewable sources and storage by 2025, and then 100 GW by 2030 with the objective of being among the world's top 5 producers of electricity from wind and solar energy.
In the team of the Technical Line Wind, you will perform offshore wind studies for the project in the Company portfolio from feasibility to FEED phase.
Activities:
Support all activities relating to the expertise of wind measurement, analysis of wind resources and calculation of wind energy [Onshore/Offshore].
Participate in all activities relating to wind energy yield activities, whether within OneTech teams or for Business Unit teams or JV/consortium teams.
Define site measurement campaign using masts, LiDAR, floating LiDAR, etc.: define the technical specifications, receipt and validation of technical offers, monitoring and receipt of measurements [Onshore/Offshore].
Performance monitoring and analysis of wind data from on-site measurement campaigns [Onshore/Offshore].
Wind flow model implementation, layout optimization, wind turbines selection, with particular effort on benchmark, comparison and expertise in wake effect modelling [Onshore/Offshore].
Realise wind energy yield assessment, production estimation and associating uncertainties of wind farms in the tender phase, project phase and in the operation phase [Onshore/Offshore].
Assist in writing and issuing technical reports, technical specifications, technical guides for internal or external use [Onshore/Offshore].
Review and comment on independent wind studies (partners or external organizations), Vendor Due diligence [Onshore/Offshore].
Assist in the implementation of internal methodologies for the definition of layouts, wind analysis and calculation of producible (choice of software solutions, optimization of layouts, wake models, estimation of technical losses etc.) [Onshore/Offshore].
Assist Business teams/architects for the selection and characterization of new wind power sites all over the world using internal or external ad-hoc tools [Onshore/Offshore].
Participate in R&D activities and the development of internal tools [Onshore/Offshore].
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Degree qualified engineer, 7 years of experience in wind analysis.
Good knowledge in fluid mechanics, numerical analysis, statistics, meteorology.
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken), and knowledge of French would be appreciated.
Interest in wind energy development.
Use wind engineering software: CFD (Meteodyn), data analysis (Windographer), wind farm design (WindPro, Openwind).
