Nurse Manager

Icon Singapore has entered into a partnership with Bali International Hospital (part of Indonesia Healthcare Corporation) to deliver comprehensive cancer care in Indonesia.

We are building a cancer centre in Bali (set to open in May 2025) and are looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to join our care team and manage the day-to-day operations of the cancer centre. We are offering attractive relocation packages and an opportunity to help build a strong team of nurses to improve the healthcare standards in Indonesia. This is a full-time position based in Bali, Indonesia.

This collaboration marks a historic moment, as it’s the first time foreign doctors and nurses will be able to practice in Indonesia in the special economic zone in Sanur, Bali, bringing high-quality care closer to patients in the region. Your licence to practice will be recognised in Bali International Hospital, allowing you to care and treat patients. This venture brings Icon’s experience in delivering quality cancer care closer to home for Indonesian locals, extending our ability to help more people access care when and where they need it.

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge and skills relating to oncology nursing to provide clinical and professional guidance to the multidisciplinary team.
2. Demonstrate ability to function in complex clinical situations while providing support and direction to registered nurses.
3. Manage a team of nurses and admin staff.
4. Manage day-to-day clinical and non-clinical processes.
5. Participate in process improvements and quality improvements.
6. Ensure comprehensive health assessment of patients.
7. Ensure documentation is aligned with current legislation requirements.
8. Ensure continuity of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care for patients and their families.
9. Safe handling and administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments to patients.
10. Educate and support patient/family throughout the continuum of care.
11. Perform phlebotomy, cannulation and insertion of venous access devices.
12. Medication counselling.
13. Ensure good communication with peers, patients and those referring into the service.
14. Work closely with the other managers and senior leaders in the organisation to ensure the provision of safe and efficient services.
15. Work closely with the other managers and organisation to maintain best standards of practice in accordance with international accreditation standards and Ministry of Health regulations.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
2. Able to be based in Bali.
3. Post-basic in Oncology Nursing will be desirable.
4. Minimum of four (4) years of working experience in oncology care is required.
5. Proficient in speaking English and Bahasa.
