OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POSTIn line with the communication guidelines of UNESCO, under the overall authority of the Assistant Director General for Social and Human Sciences of UNESCO and the Chief of Executive Office, in direct supervision of the Executive Officer and in close cooperation with the Front Office and Sections of the Social and Human Sciences sector, the contract holder will work towards the execution of the SHS communications global plan, supporting sections to develop and implement suitable communication approaches, and incorporate feedback received from the sections.
The Contract Holder undertakes to carry out these tasks and services with care and diligence, and to comply with the instructions of his/her supervisor in connection with his/her duties as set out above.
