Your Role

We are looking for our future National Sea Logistics Reefer Manager for our offices in Paris 14th! In this role, you will ensure the growth and profitability of the reefer/healthcare department through a targeted approach. You will collaborate continuously with the sales and operations teams to anticipate needs. You will become our expert in reefer and healthcare sea transport and share your market knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

Manage reefer/healthcare teams to ensure the success of your department (customer care, operations, sales teams, etc.).
Supervise import and export activities, including recruitment, training, and development. Actively promote and improve employee retention.
Identify potential clients and monitor market activity by responding to price fluctuations.
Develop new business opportunities to increase overall market share and revenue growth for perishable and healthcare shipping products.
Understand client activities and create value propositions that align with their expectations.
Proactively communicate with clients, respond to their needs, ensure commitments are met, address their concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
Manage the financial performance and profit and loss (P&L) of perishable and healthcare shipping products.
Identify cost savings, improve processes, implement efficiency gains, measure and report key indicators.
Maintain, upkeep, and manage the office as the agency head (facility maintenance, compliance, building regulations, etc.).
Adhere to and comply with all health and safety, quality, security, environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences

Ideally, you hold a higher education degree (Master's level) in business school and/or logistics, engineering, or university in the field of transportation.
You have at least 5 years of significant and similar experience in a similar role within an international structure.
This experience will have been acquired in the maritime transport sector, ideally in reefer, giving you a good understanding of its products.
You also have experience in team management.
As a visionary, you are able to identify opportunities, organize, and implement appropriate strategies for the development of your department.
As a skilled negotiator, you know how to discuss with external parties and work in a demanding environment.
Finally, interpersonal skills, autonomy, honesty, and transparency will be assets that will allow you to succeed fully in this role.
You speak English fluently; French is an advantage.
