Hexa (eFounders) is a pioneer and leading startup studio born in Europe that designs, builds and launches startups in the B2B and SaaS space.

We have created more than 35+ companies (including 3 unicorns), combining +230 m€ ARR and having raised c. 750 m€. Our portfolio includes: Front, Aircall, Spendesk, Yousign, etc.

We’re now launching a new initiative to finance and support existing startups: Hexa Scale.

Today, successful software companies have two ways to support and finance their growth: the VC path, and the self-financed profitable path. For software companies that can’t or do not want to bootstrap, but haven’t managed to stay permanently on hyper-growth, the VC path is a dead-end.

At Hexa Scale, we’re on a mission to solve this: offer a new alternative to fund and scale B2B software companies towards exponential growth.

We believe that there are great software companies, still early stages in the 1-10m€ ARR range, that sit on amazing markets with a great product, but that require a few changes to unlock their potential.

We believe that by providing them with capital and strong operational leverage, we can put them on the right trajectory, towards category-leading exponential growth.

Your role is to help us find, select, invest in, and drive those companies.

Job Description

Within Hexa Scale’s team (Augustin & Samuel), you'll participate in the entire deal-flow cycle. Currently closing our first deals, we’re looking for someone to help us source and secure the next ones for 2025.

Deal-flow: guarantee volume and reactivity

  1. Perform the first analysis of Inbound leads
  2. Identify new companies that fit our investment scope each week for reach out and ensure a strong volume generation at the top of our investment funnel.
  3. Help us to enhance our outbound tooling set-up (database, automations, scraping).
  4. Perform research on sectors that we decide to deep-dive: mapping of actors, mapping of products and features, understanding of competitive landscape, funding status and exit potential, understanding of value-creation for customers and GtM structures.
  5. Participate in qualitative research with market experts: Identify, reach-out and organise calls with market experts that we may not have directly in our network, at scale.

Company analysis: help elaborate clear pictures of our targets

  1. Understand and analyse the business model, product, team, growth engine, and overall business plan of our targets.
  2. Participate in our version of the BP to understand key assumptions and risks, and generate a clear picture of the investment opportunity.
  3. Support Hexa Scale’s team in both intro and due diligence calls.

Preferred Experience

  1. Available for 6 months, starting in July.
  2. Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree of Business / Engineering school.
  3. At least 1 experience in M&A, PE, Growth fund or Consulting.
  4. Very curious about tech/software and permanently digging topics to get to the heart of things.
  5. Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate opinions with both numbers and concepts.
  6. Strong Excel skills and ability to use automation tools (e.g. Zapier) would be a plus.
  7. Highly coachable: enjoying and asking for feedback and training.

Recruitment Process

  1. 1st Intro call with our Talent Team (30min).
  2. Meeting with Samuel to get to know each other and discuss about your experiences and interests (45min).
  3. Business Case & Feedback session with Augustin & Samuel (1h).
  4. Reference checks & with the team.
