Mid-Market PE - Investment Manager - Paris

The Role:

The Investment Manager will take an active role in deal origination, execution, and portfolio value creation. This position offers significant responsibility, autonomy, and exposure to all stages of the investment cycle — with the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of portfolio companies across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deal sourcing efforts and develop proprietary investment opportunities
• Manage and oversee financial modelling, valuation work, and due diligence processes
• Structure and negotiate transaction terms and documentation
• Prepare and present investment committee materials with a high degree of independence
• Support and lead value-creation initiatives within portfolio companies, working directly with management teams and board members
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the team’s capabilities
• Collaborate with colleagues across European offices and investment committees

Candidate Profile:

• 5–7 years of experience in private equity, ideally within the mid-market segment
• Prior experience leading or co-leading transactions, with strong execution skills
• Solid financial and commercial acumen, with demonstrated ability to evaluate complex investment cases
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
• Additional fluency in Italian or German is strongly preferred
• Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial, lean teams with cross-border exposure
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience engaging with management teams and advisors
