Position Summary: The Medical Program Manager provides oversight for all Medical Coordinators within the ORR Family Wellness programs. This role ensures high-quality healthcare services for minors by training and auditing Medical Coordinators, maintaining communication with the Division of Health for Unaccompanied Children (DHUC), and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Additionally, the Medical Program Manager coordinates resources to assist minors aging out of care with obtaining medical insurance.

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associate degree. Certified Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing license (BSN) and two to four years’ experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting.
Ability:
Bilingual in Spanish.
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
Mathematical Ability:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Supervise, coach, and mentor staff providing guidance to their work and learning including, when necessary, corrective/disciplinary action in a timely and professional manner.
