Medical Lead

We are seeking a Medical Lead to drive Zoī's medical strategy with an innovative vision, positioning our team and organization at the forefront of evidence-based preventive medicine. As Medical Lead, you will work closely with the Chief Scientific Advisor to define and refine Zoī's medical vision, while overseeing the optimization of protocols and our decision support tool, Cōrtex. You will manage a team including physicians and project managers, to ensure the seamless execution of our medical strategy and vision. Reporting directly to Zoī steering committee through the Head of Medical Operations, you will play a crucial role in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide strategic decisions and maximize the impact of our medical interventions.

Key responsibilities

1. Clinical protocol excellence: Ensuring ongoing innovation in care
   • Monitoring and updating protocols: Conduct scientific monitoring and identify relevant medical innovations to ensure our protocols stay at the forefront of advancements. Regularly review publications and research to keep practices up-to-date and incorporate new recommendations.
   • Continuous optimization of medical follow-up: Coordinate the integration of new tests, methods, and inclusion/exclusion criteria to maximize the impact of preventive care for members. Collaborate with the team to refine longitudinal follow-up, ensuring optimal support for members at every stage.
   • Tracking clinical performance: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our protocols, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement to deliver more effective and personalized care.
2. Cōrtex: Shaping the clinical decision support system of tomorrow
   • Designing the decision support tool: Structure and lead the development of Cōrtex in collaboration with Zoī's Medical Direction and expert committee, making this tool a cornerstone of data-driven preventive medicine.
   • Validating and optimizing medical content: Contribute to the creation, testing, and validation of Cōrtex's medical content, ensuring high precision and clinical relevance. Work closely with teams to adjust and fine-tune features based on practitioner feedback.
3. Cross-team collaboration: Building bridges between medicine, technology, and member experience
   • Coordination with product and data teams: Collaborate with product teams to create optimized interfaces for healthcare professionals and engaging, educational content for members. Participate in the design and optimization of these tools to ensure a smooth and tailored user experience.
   • Training and support for internal teams: Work with operational teams to design and organize continuous training for healthcare professionals and employees, sharing best practices and innovations. Act as a key reference on cross-functional medical topics, supporting skill development across Zoī’s teams.
4. Inspiring leadership: Fostering excellence and innovation within the medical team
   • Managing and developing the medical team: Supervise the medical team by fostering a culture of performance and collaboration. Encourage talent development, support team members in building their skills, and create a motivating and positive work environment.
   • Team vision and strategy: In close collaboration with the Chief Scientific Advisor, define and communicate a clear, ambitious vision for the medical team aligned with Zoī's strategic goals. Inspire the team to innovate, adopt best practices, and meet the challenges of evidence-based preventive medicine.

Ideal candidate profile

• Medical background and analytical skills: Physician with experience in team management and a strong interest in preventive medicine and clinical data analysis. Proficient in bibliographic tools and skilled in interpreting data and performance indicators.
• Curiosity and natural leadership: Ability to learn quickly and inspire others. Scientific curiosity, paired with a passion for the MedTech sector and health innovation.
• Strategic vision and results-oriented approach: Experience in managing complex medical projects, ability to make data-driven decisions, and to drive strategic choices impacting member health.
