Organizes on-site maintenance operations under his responsibility.
Assists the planning team by providing technical support for job preparation in his discipline.
Assists specialists working under specific maintenance contracts (SMC).
Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected, especially procedures related to work permits, as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practices during maintenance operations.
Manages interventions using the CMMS, checks intervention reports, and writes technical reports related to his field.
Ensures proper knowledge transfer through mentoring within his teams.
Manages the maintenance of all mechanical equipment (gearboxes, pumps, compressors, gas compressor, cranes, accumulators, heat exchangers, fans, lifeboats, liferaft, diesel generators SDG/EDG, firefighting package, strainers & filters).
Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical systems, air compressors, gas lift compressors, water injection systems, cranes, pumps, etc.
Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Organizes all maintenance activities (repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures).
Logs daily parameters and maintains records.
Methods
Provides support in repair, installation, and commissioning.
Analyzes indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management, and intervention reports to improve maintenance in his area.
Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyzes them, and suggests improvements.
Reviews current preventive maintenance programs and suggests improvements if necessary.
Informs support teams of recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
Requests modifications and suggests improvements.
Profile
Responsible for the quality of studies carried out by backup teams and ensures satisfactory performance of on-site operations through audits and reviews.
Defines the maintenance policy based on the objectives of COMPANY and the subsidiary.
Ensures operations are carried out in compliance with COMPANY’s safety rules and operational procedures.
Analyzes maintenance performance from both technical and economic viewpoints and takes necessary actions to meet objectives regarding availability and costs.
Qualifications
Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC or equivalent).
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in maintenance in oil and gas production installations.
Good knowledge of various mechanical systems and equipment.
SAP/R3 experience and know-how.
Physical ability to work on offshore installations in various climatic conditions.
Fluent in English, with knowledge of French and Portuguese recommended.
Demonstrates leadership, reliability, and confidentiality in work.
