Marketing Director

WHAT YOU’LL DO (AND WHY IT MATTERS)

We will expect you to develop, own, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, generate pipeline, and manage communications. You’ll initially lead a team of 3, with the opportunity to scale the function as the company grows. Key responsibilities:

1. Define, develop and execute the overall marketing strategy
2. Own all aspects of Product Marketing
3. Drive brand awareness and continue to position CO2 AI as a thought leader in the market
4. Develop a compelling content strategy, including articles, whitepapers, case studies, and other relevant materials showcasing CO2 AI's expertise and innovation
5. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and better understand our competitive landscape
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders to secure positive press coverage
7. Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals and contribute to revenue growth
8. Drive lead generation efforts through digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing)
9. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team
10. Foster a collaborative and innovative marketing culture within the organization
11. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

1. 8-10+ years of B2B marketing experience
2. 2-3+ years specifically on product marketing topics
3. 1-2+ years leading, managing or coaching other team members
4. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience, or at least strong interest and self-education, in Sustainability
6. Previous experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
8. Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies
9. Experience managing and leading a marketing team.
10. Fluency in English (oral and written) is required

WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED

Ideally based in Paris. Open to other locations in the EU
