Position statement

The Assistant Manager / Manager - Rajasthan Operations will lead and oversee the implementation of CSR projects executed by SNS Foundation across Jawai, Jaisalmer, and Ranthambore. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring projects in key areas such as waste management, education, healthcare, and skill development. The incumbent will manage stakeholders, engage with local communities, ensure compliance with local regulations, and deliver impactful outcomes aligned with organizational objectives. The role requires extensive collaboration, operational excellence, and periodic travel to project locations.


Location: Pali, Rajasthan


Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution

  • Plan, execute, and monitor CSR initiatives, including waste management, education programs, skill development, mobile medical van operations, and medical/veterinary camps.
  • Manage vendors and contractors to ensure smooth operations for infrastructure and medical projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including SNS management and project teams.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as government authorities, community leaders, healthcare/veterinary experts, and partner schools.

3. Community Engagement

  • Build trust and ensure active participation of local communities in CSR initiatives.
  • Address community concerns and organize awareness campaigns/workshops related to health, education, and waste management.

4. Project Progress Reporting

  • Track project progress to ensure objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on project progress to SNS Foundation leadership.

5. Team Leadership

  • Identify, train, manage, and motivate project team members.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, foster a positive work environment, and enhance overall team performance.

Qualification Required

Mandatory

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Education, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi dialect (written and spoken).
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desired

Familiarity with rural development frameworks and government schemes focusing Rajasthan.


Experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in managing CSR, community development, or social sector project implementation in Rajasthan.
  • Experience working with local communities in Rajasthan or similar rural settings.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management, including government and community engagement.

  2. Stakeholder Management: Ability to liaise effectively with government officials, educational institutions, and community leaders to drive project success.

  4. Compliance and Governance: Knowledge of CSR regulations and local government protocols, ensuring compliance in all projects.
