The deployment of an ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning), a very high-performance tool, aims to create consistent and efficient applications across our agencies on a global level, to facilitate real-time information sharing and analysis regardless of the size of the agency or its location. This project, named Altaïr (which signifies "Flying Eagle" in ancient Arabic and is also the name of the brightest star in the same constellation) aims to have main North America and European countries agencies and shared services implemented by 2016.

The Altaïr solution has been already deployed in Europe, America, MENA, APAC, CEE, and Nordics region agencies (around 97,500 users).

Further deployment is under review to most of Publicis entities in the world as well.

The Altaïr solution will provide a common process and application platform for the following CORE processes: Client & Vendor set-up, Manage projects, Estimating, Manage time, Manage expenses, Purchasing & procurement, Account payable, Production billing, Inter-company, Cash collection & credit receivables, Treasury, GL, Month-end, Fixed assets, Budget forecasting.

All these CORE processes are supported by extensive reporting capabilities using SAP BW and Business Object.

The processes are run on SAP ECC6.0 (SD billing, MM purchasing, FI, CO, PS, AA), SAP Netweaver (Portal, PO), and SAP BW on HANA with Business Object. The following project tools are in use: Solution manager, Quality center, U-Perform, U-Learn, Loadrunner.

The SAP platform is fully integrated into the Publicis application landscape: HFM for corporate reporting, TMS for treasury management, and dedicated applications for Media planning and buying.

As part of the Altaïr Program, we are looking for new team members in the Altaïr team to further strengthen the Application support and maintenance team in charge of delivering application support services to agencies already live on the production platform. These services are delivered together with an external partner to ensure high quality and 24/7 services for agencies to be deployed across the world.

MISSIONS :

The Altair Roles & Authorizations consultant will report to the Altair Roles & Authorizations Lead in charge of the SAP security and authorization domain on our global solution and landscape.

• Design and implement SAP roles and authorizations according to Altair core model design for SAP portal, ECC, GRC, Gateway/Fiori, BW/BO solutions.
• Provide Level 2 & 3 support for complex roles and authorizations issues to the offshore application maintenance (AM) team.
• Assign and oversee recurring tasks to the offshore AM team and ensure quality control.
• Support regional teams for user access management and credential assignments.
• Conduct security audits and implement optimal SAP security solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports on SAP security activities.
• Deliver authorization and security settings for new projects (e.g., GDW, Fiori, GRC, S4).

DESIRED PROFILE :

Knowledge and Technical Skills :

• Expertise in SAP Authorization design and implementation across SAP landscapes (ECC, BW, Business Objects, Portal).
• Experience in resolving SAP authorization/security/audit issues in large SAP environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Basis, ABAP, BW/BO authorization, and SAP HANA is advantageous.
• Experience with GRC projects is a plus.

Soft Skills :

• Service-oriented mindset.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required.
• International experience and adaptability.

Education and Experience :

• Master’s degree (BAC+4 or 5) in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP authorizations and GRC.
