Oversee all legal matters for our rapidly growing French affiliate and managing the relationship with external counsel.
Provide strategic legal advice on commercialization and regulatory issues in France.
Manage legal investigations related to competition, regulatory, and anti-corruption laws.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and R&D agreements.
Advise on privacy, compliance, employment, and corporate governance matters.
Collaborate with the home office Law Department on cross-functional legal issues.
Contribute to the French Leadership Team and provide legal advice for the US as needed.
You have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulations and practices.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working on cross-functional teams.
You are adept at managing complex legal matters and have a keen eye for detail.
You can communicate effectively in both French and English.
Candidates must hold a French law degree from a leading university and have significant legal experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Applicants will require 8-10 years of legal experience in the biotech/pharma sector in France. A license to practice law in the US or another jurisdiction is a plus, along with experience in a top law firm. Familiarity with local or European regulators and experience working in the US are beneficial.
