THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Contracts within the "Contracts and Projects" Legal Department, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and managing legal risks for the various activities and companies of the CMA CGM Group, particularly in the NTIC and Cybersecurity sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  2. Advising and assisting operational staff in the development of innovative projects and digital transformation, particularly in the context of the development of Artificial Intelligence, identifying and assessing risks, and proposing solutions and recommendations.
  3. Monitoring cybersecurity regulations.
  4. Preventing and reacting to e-reputation threats, cybersquatting, data leaks and fraud.
  5. Training operational staff and raising their awareness of legal issues relating to their activities.
  6. Managing any pre-litigation and litigation within the scope of your role.

You will develop a strategic and trust-based relationship with your key internal contacts and the various stakeholders in order to deliver appropriate legal support and advice.

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

5 years' higher education in business law, contract law and/or the law of new technologies, ideally supplemented by a common law course abroad (US/UK LLM) or a business school.

Reactive, curious and enterprising, you will be able to put forward proposals and take the initiative to present solutions that meet both the legislation and the contractual requirements of the CMA CGM Group.

Synthetic, very rigorous, conscientious and organised, your interpersonal (dialogue and negotiation) and writing skills enable you to be autonomous in your areas of responsibility.

Your team spirit, solidarity, dynamism and adaptability are key assets in the success of this long-term assignment within a dedicated and motivated team of 8 employees.
