About the Job
Reporting to the head of the risk quantification department and placed under the functional authority of the HSE Design Lead on projects, you will supervise a team of risk quantification engineer(s) working on Technip Energies projects.
In coordination with the head of department, you will be in charge on one or more projects of the organization of the risk quantification team and the verification of deliverables (with the support of department experts when necessary). You will also be responsible for carrying out risk quantification activities (own production of some deliverables, participation in reviews or follow up of subcontractors production).
You will be the main interlocutor of the client representative and the project management team for subjects related to the risk quantification scope.
You will ensure compliance with the requirement of the Quality System (QA/QC as per ISO 9001), the planning milestones and the budget allocated to the discipline.
You will ensure regular reporting to the HSE Design Lead and Head of Department. Finally, you will also have to formalize and share your technical feedback with the other engineers of the department.
This position involves strong interactions with other HSE Design specialists (industrial safety and Environmental Engineers) as well as with other disciplines (Process, Piping, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, etc.).
Your main tasks are:
About You
Masters Degree in Engineering / MA / MSc / MS or equivalent in chemical engineering, process Safety, Loss Prevention, etc.
10+ years of experience in risk assessment within the Oil and gas or other industries (in France or abroad).
Track record in successfully using tools and methods for consequence modelling of accidental events: advanced use of simulation tools such as Phast, Safeti (it is a must) and ideally FRED, FLACS or equivalent.
Track record in successfully deploying probabilistic risk analysis approaches (QRA, FERA, Event Tree, etc.) on large projects for major companies.
Advanced knowledge of good engineering practices, codes and standards in the field of loss protection and process safety.
First experience in team management.
Proficient in English (both oral and written).
Dynamic, proactive, rigorous, autonomous, analytical and problem-solving oriented, you know how to evolve and assert yourself in a multicultural work environment.
