About the Role:
We are seeking a (Creative) Lead Game Designer to drive the creative vision and long-term engagement strategy of our established, fast-growing mobile game.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own a creative game design vision, ensuring a consistent, high-quality player experience.
- Create new features, mechanics, and progression systems to extend player engagement beyond one year.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, economy designers, and the game development team to optimize retention and monetization strategies.
- Guide the game’s design principles and standards, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Conduct playtesting, data analysis, and iteration to refine features and maximize impact.
- Oversee long-term game growth strategies, shaping the roadmap for sustained player enjoyment.
- Advocate for the player experience, ensuring seamless UI / UX, intuitive mechanics, and a compelling game world.
- Collaborate with LiveOps to ensure cohesive gameplay improvements and event strategies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in game design, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping successful mobile free-to-play (F2P) games.
- Deep understanding of casual audiences, particularly in merge, farming, or resource management games.
- Experience designing progression systems, late-game content, and long-term engagement features.
- Strong knowledge of game economy principles, LTV, KPIs, and monetization strategies.
- Ability to balance creative innovation with data-driven decision-making.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to inspire and align a team around a creative vision.
