OUR CONTEXT

For a very ambitious agile-at-scale program (Feature Teams organization), we are seeking talented and ambitious professionals to join our team based primarily in Paris and Bucharest as we accelerate our transformative digital and product journey.

We are fully embracing Cloud Native capabilities and best practices and operating as a multi-tribe Product team to better serve our customers (Clients, Merchants and Users) and our Edenred employees. We are leveraging Agility at scale principles and are leading the charge in establishing “FinTech Product” ways of working for Edenred.

OUR PROGRAM ENGINEERING TEAM

The principles we want our tech team to embrace :

  1. Empower the product and engineering teams to own the end-to-end experience
  2. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation
  3. Encourage cross-functional collaboration and communication
  4. Ensure that all teams have a clear understanding of SLAs and service level objectives
  5. Implement a robust monitoring and alerting system
  6. Implement a robust incident management process
  7. Encourage a culture of blameless post-mortems
  8. Provide tools and training to empower teams to make decisions and take ownership
  9. Implement a process for regular reviews and performance evaluations
  10. Ensure that all teams have access to the necessary resources and support to be successful

How are we driving SRE principles :

  1. Maximize automation to reduce human error and improve the consistency of system operations
  2. Leverage monitoring / observability to proactively identify and address issues before they become problems
  3. Excel at incident management to quickly and effectively respond to and resolve issues that do arise
  4. Establish & promote a single unified tooling ecosystem - Atlassian based – to foster efficient collaboration and sharing across all the teams involved, Product or Technology focused
  5. Continuously improve systems by analyzing and learning from past incidents and implementing changes to prevent similar issues in the future
  6. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that new features and changes are designed with reliability and availability in mind
  7. Drive for knowledge management excellence to empower front line teams to handle a maximum of requests / incidents in autonomy
  8. Promote a ”rotation” approach to ensure all teams experience BOTH Build and Run situations and can take full accountability for their delivery (Features and Capabilities)
  9. API & Microservices - C# / .Net
  10. DataDogs and OpsGenie for Observability+Alerting
  11. Jira Product management and Service Management

The Lead Developer role is crucial in the technical development within a Feature team. This role is designed for a developer who thrives on coding and technical challenges, with an eye on growing into a solution architect role within the next 2-3 years. As Lead Developer, you will be instrumental in building robust solutions, advocating for best practices, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and excellence.

As Lead Developer, your main responsibilities are :

  1. Lead design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
  2. Lead all phases of the development life cycle
  3. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  4. Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review, in order to support continuous improvement
  5. Lead review and debug of Flutter applications
  6. Manage, train and provide support for junior developers

  1. Full Stack Development expertise with a mastery of Flutter and experience in both iOS and Android
  2. Strong experience with managing mobile applications at scale in production – frequent releases, thousands of users, multi-country
  3. Proven track record in an Agile / Scrum environment and the ability to effectively communicate with international teams
  4. A passion for continuous learning and growth, with a fluency in English both spoken and written
  5. A player-coach mentality and the ability to lead a winning team
