Lead Data Scientist

Coders Connect is partnering with Sanofi to find a Lead Data Scientist to drive AI innovation and machine learning in biopharma manufacturing.

Based in Lyon – 3 days on-site, 2 remote.

What you’ll be working on:

1. Developing AI models to optimise production and reduce costs.
2. Designing and deploying machine learning and statistical models.
3. Collaborating with engineers and business teams to drive AI adoption.
4. Managing and mentoring a team of data scientists.
5. Working with real-time IoT data and cloud-based ML pipelines.

What You Need to Bring:

1. 8+ years of experience in AI / ML or data science.
2. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud ML pipelines.
3. Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and optimisation.
4. Leadership experience managing data science teams.
5. Experience in biopharma, manufacturing, or regulated industries is a plus.
