Junior IT and Cyber Security Internal Auditor

Your work environment:

The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work.

Within the Group, you will join the Central IT Audit team based in Paris 17th district and composed of 20 auditors and managers covering IT and Cyber Security audit matters at Group level and for various AXA entities, as well as providing expertise and audit resources for the Internal Service Providers and the Regional IT audit teams.

Regular security trainings or CTF are organized within the team to upskill people and maintain the technical excellence of the team.

During our reviews we have enough time to learn, develop ourselves and deep dive into the technical details.

Your job and daily missions:

As a member of the audit team, you will conduct reviews over all Technology related areas, including the following types of Cyber Security reviews:

• Application and IT infrastructure security configuration
• Network security & IT architecture
• Penetration testing of applications, IT systems and networks
• Security of Cloud environments (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)
• Assessment of security incidents detection and response capabilities
• Information security organization, standards, and risk management

In addition, you will contribute to the development and the maintenance of our “Cyber Security audit Lab” and related auditing and penetration testing tools.

You are a last year student looking for pre-employment internship or young graduate with master’s degree / max two years of experience specialized in information technology, security or network.

You have a genuine passion for Cyber Security and are willing to join the number one assurance company in an international context.

You are willing to develop your skills by performing audits aiming to identify vulnerabilities across all range of technologies from mainframe, Linux, Windows, network up to the latest public cloud technologies which is a fantastic playground for security experts and passionate people. Having published technical articles or released tools on GitHub related to information security is a plus.

You are excited to join a team composed of seasoned technical experts sharing the same passion as you for learning every day something new and making a difference.

You must:

• Be passionate about technology and information security (e.g. attend information security conferences, follow information security news, participate in CTF...)
• Have strong IT and security skills, including at least one programming language and good knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux), databases, Cloud and network architecture and security principles
• Show a great ability to listen, be objective and rigorous, and have a critical and analytical mind
• Have good communication skills orally and in writing, ability to convince and to write clear, precise and accurate reports
• Be fluent in both English and French (essential)
• Willing to travel for up to 10% of the time
