Junior Field Service Technician – Laboratory Automation

Location: Paris, France

The company is a global leading manufacturer of liquid handling robotics and laboratory automation. Their instruments are used in cell biology, genomics, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, and immunodiagnostics. With a market-leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Junior Field Service Technician for Northern France.

The Position:

Your primary responsibility is the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory automation systems. This position is home-based with travel to customer sites across the Northern half of France, with a large focus on Île-de-France. Customers include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academia, hospitals, food & beverage, as well as other industries. You will work alongside the sales, support, and service team in France. Full training is given on the instruments.

The Requirements:

1. Educated in a scientific or engineering field is preferred; Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
2. Practical experience working with laboratory instruments, diagnostics equipment, and automation is essential.
3. Fluent in English and French is essential.
4. Excellent communication skills are essential.
