Role Overview

The European Repo desk in Paris is seeking a Junior Broker to join their team. Ideally we are looking to speak to local graduates who can communicate verbally, and in writing, with English and French and ideally have had previous experience in Broking.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Promote TP ICAP Group.
2. Deal input with a view to be trained to eventually communicate with clients.
3. Keep pricing screens and trade records up to date.
4. Provide complete support (operational and administrative) to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk, making sure brokers can remain at their desks to trade.
5. Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems and via Bloomberg.
6. Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
7. Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.
8. Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis.
9. Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.
10. Assist with the on-boarding of new clients.

4. Good communication skills, written and verbal, in Italian, French and English.
