Role Overview

As part of our ongoing growth across Europe, we are seeking a driven and versatile Account Executive to spearhead new sales revenue generation and acquire new clients. This role will also involve collaborating with the broader sales team to align on strategic objectives, streamlining sales processes, and ensuring excellence in CRM (Salesforce) administration and overall sales process hygiene, contributing significantly to our success.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and business development, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will help generate new business opportunities with existing accounts, open new accounts, assist in administrative sales functions, and ensure data and pipeline accuracy in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Drive new revenue growth by targeting new logo accounts in financial markets and upselling new products and services to the existing market.
  • Activate New Market Segments: Identify and activate new market segments, territories, and verticals, contributing to the team’s new business target achievement around community aggregation.
  • Support the Sales Team: Actively assist the wider sales team by qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, and developing account plans and dashboards. Support the team in qualifying strategic opportunities and prioritizing high-potential accounts — not just administratively, but commercially.
  • Manage SMB Customers: Take ownership of a portfolio of SMB customers while addressing their cloud journey.
  • Maintain CRM Accuracy: Help sanitize and maintain Salesforce by ensuring data accuracy, opportunity hygiene, pipeline tracking, and activity logging.
  • Assist in Go-to-Market Efforts: Support campaign follow-ups and outbound outreach across the French-speaking and German markets.
  • Build and Manage Prospect Pipeline: Build, manage, and track a high-quality prospect pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with Sales Ops and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of lead generation and business development campaigns.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Provide reporting, proposal coordination, pipeline updates, event preparation, and other administrative assistance.
  • Track Market Intelligence: Keep market intelligence updated by monitoring industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Participate in Sales Calls and Knowledge Sharing: Actively contribute to internal sales calls and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Develop Market Understanding: Build a strong understanding of IPC’s high-value market space and competitive offerings to effectively solution-sell to prospects.
  • Increase Brand Awareness: Represent IPC at industry events and networking functions, enhancing market awareness of IPC.
  • Support Data Services Portfolio Development: Play a key role in developing the IPC Network Services Data services portfolio by introducing Data Sales Specialists where relevant.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Act as a proactive business development contributor within a fast-paced sales environment, with a focus on new logo acquisition, pipeline growth, and prioritizing retention while amplifying net new revenue generation.
  • Take ownership of Tier 3 & Tier 4 clients, nurturing relationships and guiding them in their transition toward cloud-based solutions and modern communication platforms.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold outreach, targeted campaigns, events, networking, referrals, and digital prospecting.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports, delivering visibility on pipeline status, conversion metrics, sales activity, and performance KPIs to the leadership team.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs, bringing insights that help the team position IPC more effectively.
  • Develop and manage a structured and scalable sales funnel, ensuring smooth progression from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, playbooks, and sales process improvements to foster continuous improvement across the team.

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in the Role

  • 3+ years of experience in Account executive role, business development or inside sales, ideally in Financial Services, SaaS, or Telecom environments.
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce CRM and understanding of pipeline management best practices.
  • Proven ability to engage with new prospects and create meaningful client conversations.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, energetic, and highly collaborative team player.
  • Fluent in French, German and English (written and spoken).
  • Curious mindset, eager to learn, contribute and grow.

Additional Information:

We spend around 60% of our time in the office and around 40% of our time working remotely. Some employees may be required to work from the office or client sites more than 60% of the time, if required by their role and/or client needs.

Your precise work schedule will be determined by you and your Line Manager before commencement of employment with IPC.
