As an Application Support Engineer (m / f / d) | 3rd Level Support, you can expect a friendly, collegial working atmosphere with team spirit and room for your own development. Together with your team, you will act as an interface to support transport companies worldwide in the introduction and use of our software solutions in the field of data analytics and automatic passenger counting.

Here is an insight into your day-to-day work:

• You actively ensure that our software solutions run smoothly on the complex customer systems, including by fixing errors in the database and in the software by means of bug fixes.
• Your focus is on analyzing and rectifying faults that are forwarded by 2nd level support. You will be the technical contact person for troubleshooting and software installations with our customers.
• You will also independently implement smaller change requests as part of our customer projects.
• You will be an important part of our agile team, which carries out complex error analyses in exchange with colleagues and other specialist departments in order to continuously improve the quality of our systems.
• You can expect flat hierarchies, respectful interaction at eye level and an informal culture at all levels.
• You will primarily work with the following technologies and systems: Java, SQL, PL / SQL, Oracle, C# .NET, REST, Microsoft Windows Server, microservice architectures, broker technologies and Docker / Kubernetes on Linux.

This is you:

• You have completed IT-based vocational training, a degree in an IT environment or have acquired your technical expertise through practical (professional) experience.
• Experience in object-oriented software development with Java and / or C# and in working with relational databases.
• At best, you already have some knowledge of the Oracle environment, especially SQL and PL / SQL.
• Initial experience with cloud & real-time technologies is an advantage and you can contribute this or would like to acquire it in the medium term.
• Fluent German and good English skills will help you in technical exchanges with colleagues and customers.
