Job Description

Within the Pricing & Analytics division of DSI CIB Global Markets, you join the Calculation Engines team, which is made up of around 20 people spread between Porto and Paris. In this team, we work to offer massive computation services based on highly distributed architectures for applications such as risk calculation tools, stress tests and simulations.

Your daily tasks are:

• Participate in the development and evolution of massive pricing services and batches based on quantitative libraries for Front Office uses as well as for Risks & Results;
• Optimize the execution of pricers using calculation parallelization (Grid Computing) and caching (Caching);
• Maintain high quality production by following good practices and proactively managing application and infrastructure incidents;
• Manage technical debt on your perimeter by encouraging remediation and continuous improvement actions;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of CI/CD by using DevOps principles and agility.

The technical stack used is as follows: Java, Scala, Hadoop, etc.

The position is based in Paris and at our company it’s 10 days of telework per month, 15 to 17 days of RTT per year, on-site services such as catering, the gym or the corporate concierge. Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

You have a higher education in information systems, you have first experience (internship or alternance) as a developer within a CIB.

You are proficient in:

• Programming languages: Java (Spring, Spring Boot), Scala, and knowledge of C++ and Python are a plus;
• Big Data solutions, including the Hadoop platform and Spark programming;
• Relational databases;
• Grid computing and caching.

You are:

• With good rigour and great responsiveness;
• Recognized for your analytical and synthetic spirit;
• Proactive and able to anticipate needs.

You have a command of English at level B2.
