IT / Connectivity Solution Design Architect
Medical device connectivity - Northern half of France
Location: Créteil, France or Remote
Part of the Mindray France organization. Located in Créteil or Remote involves frequent travel (20-30%) - this role covers the French market including DROM COM and Switzerland.
Reporting to the IT Supervisor Sales & Marketing, PMLS - France.
A mega exciting opportunity is now available within our ambitious Patient Monitoring & Life Support function, focusing on Solution design within IT and connectivity.
We are looking for an assertive and persuasive IT / connectivity expert with knowledge and experience of hospital environments to develop this role. Well versed in IT and connected solutions, you will have been in an IT connectivity position working with hospitals and understanding their workflows. Charismatic and commercially astute, you will work hand in hand with various internal and external stakeholders, being instrumental in driving successful solution design and implementation of our M-Connect portfolio in the Northern half of France.
In this position, you will work closely with the Solution Design Architect for the South of France region, Product specialists, Sales representatives, and IT service engineers.
Your responsibilities:
Solution design and Implementation of the M-Connect portfolio:
- Presales projects consult and solution design
- Hospital network structure information collecting and analysis (drawing of hospital network structure)
- Maintaining product portfolio and references
- Technical release / approval of quotes
- Develop the national business in close cooperation with sales and marketing
Implementation / After sales (national documentation and implementation):
- Documentation strategy / standardization for the IT solution projects
- Customer workshops (selling opportunities etc.)
- Customer segmentation with Sales / upgrade & lifecycle management
- Internal and external training
- Implementation of the designed solution at customer sites
Marketing (national strategy and promotion):
- Marketing, sales, and service team IT ability training
- Collect IT requirements from the field and healthcare IT developing trends
- Close communication with upstream marketing / BU / EU IT team regarding product improvement & future products
- Establishing guides, forms, marketing materials, and sales tools (in cooperation with EU / HQ)
- Develop the national M-Connect strategy together and aligned with EU strategies
- Tender analysis / support
- Attend meetings and exhibitions
- Promotion: Present solution to customers / potential customers
- Support solution selling
- Customer workshops (selling opportunities etc.)
- Customer segmentation with Sales / upgrade & lifecycle management
- Define SLA on products together with IT service
What are we looking for in you?
- Balanced capabilities in IT, marketing & sales, along with IT connectivity project management
- Demonstrable experience of working in IT Connectivity, working with sales teams to design and implement projects, so understanding hospital infrastructures in France
- Fluent French and English written and verbal are essential
- Experience in delivering technical connectivity-based training
- Background working in a similar role designing, communicating, and delivering connectivity solutions to key stakeholders in hospitals that support customer needs
- Understanding of TCP / IP and other associated protocols
- Knowledge of Desktop and Server operating systems - primarily Microsoft based W10, Svr2012 / 16 / 19
- Experience in virtualization (VMware, HyperV)
- Preferred: Understanding of HL7, both the protocol and how it integrates with hospital systems (Only for standard work)
- Understanding of general hospital IT workflows and IT systems for example Imaging, PACS, PAS, EMR HIS, LIS, PDMS, general understanding of communication standards such as HL7 / FHIR / DICOM
- Preferred: General understanding of Mirth
- Able to work in the country for which you are applying without the requirement of company sponsorship
