What the job looks like:
- The IT Business Consultant is responsible for analysing, designing, and testing IT solutions that meet the business needs.
- Collaborate with the business partner organisation and other IT stakeholders to understand, validate and document the business requirements and processes of Grünenthal's functions and regions.
- Analyse and document the current business processes and requirements, identifying any gaps or inefficiencies that need to be addressed by the IT products.
- Design and propose new or improved business processes and solutions that align with the strategic objectives and user needs.
- Communicate and collaborate with the stakeholders and users, ensuring that their feedback and input are incorporated into the IT products.
- Review, coordinate and execute the functional testing and testing of IT solutions, ensuring that they meet the acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Provide feedback and guidance to the IT development and delivery teams, facilitating the agile development process and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as project manager / -lead and ensure excellence in project setup and execution.
- Support the BP in workshops to design & model processes according to BPMN standard.
- Provide functional support and training to BPE and IT colleagues on IT systems and processes.
- Manage and resolve functional issues and incidents of IT systems and processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of IT solutions and processes.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Master's degree in (business) computer science, engineering, Life Science or comparable.
- IT professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in complex, international IT enterprise organizations.
- Proven experience in project management of large, complex global projects/programs, as well as in process management and improvement.
- Proven track record of delivering IT solutions that meet the business needs and expectations.
- Experience in working with various IT technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Certification in agile frameworks, such as Scrum or SAFe, is a plus.
