We are looking for a seasoned IT Applications Director to join our team. Reporting directly to the group CIO your mission will be to bring our IS landscape to new heights!
Here is what to expect in this role:
- In your first 6 months you will establish foundations for internal Applications activity: reinforce teams, collaborate with HR and Finance to understand business & existing operating models, streamline end-to-end processes (hire-to-retire, Procure-to-Pay, Lead-to-Cash), clean data, and simplify our workflows in Netsuite & SAP SuccessFactors. Revamping our foundations will also be the right time to rechallenge the status quo and deploy POC to find new ways of implementing core processes. This phase will be considered a success if meaningful KPIs are defined, implemented, and monitored for each key functional domain.
- During your next 6-18 months you will drive the framing strategy of our newly designed IS landscape. Your objective is to set up future-proof integrated capabilities that maximize internal efficiency and let our engineering workforce focus on business-specific matters. This will be a unique opportunity to rebalance in-house development vs off-the-shelf components, rethink our overall architecture, and structure a platform approach.
- After 18 months the next phase will focus on scaling and optimizing the IS landscape through key application integrations, improved user experience, and continuous innovation. The goal is to achieve seamless data flow, improve responsiveness to business needs, and empower functional teams with optimal systems and features.
Qualifications:
If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for details and a proven track record in IT applications management, we invite you to join our dynamic team.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- At least 8 years of experience in IT Applications with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale application projects with at least a successful deployment of a global ERP (Core Model).
- Strong understanding of business processes and how applications can enhance business performance.
- Proficiency in IT including ERPs (SAP, Netsuite, Workday) but also API and JSON.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; French, Spanish, and Portuguese would be a plus.
If you're excited about transforming IT applications in a dynamic and innovative work environment, we'd love to hear from you!
