CONTEXT :

So far, the IT department of GO was dedicated to maintenance activities and small to mid-size projects implementation. This department was mostly covering commodity activities rather than considered as a strategic asset.

Today, after the pandemic and smart working conditions successfully put in place, as digital process streamlining, cloud transition and IT security are a must, strong IT leadership and skills are required in order to drive successfully Business initiatives (Finance replatforming) or Tech&Data initiatives (Cloud, 5 Security Pillars, One ID, One Workplace).

IT is expected to be professionalized and aligned to Group if not market standards. IT Engineering & management skills are expected to improve.

MISSIONS :

  • Managing the product functional & technical feature backlog
  • Controlling quality of service and managing incidents
  • Developing product costing and positioning strategies
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience of his/her business lines in particular and of GO as an entity in general.
  • Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas which improve process effectiveness, user experience and GO efficiency.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams (within GO CIO, Global Product or external vendors) in order to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Secure quality of service of the application products for his/her business lines
  • Ensure full compliance to AXA standards of the products for the business (incl. Security & Data Privacy)
  • Anticipate and manage end of life of the application products through migration, replacement, decommissioning plans.

PROFILE :

Skills needed :

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management.
  • Solid technical and/or functional background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies and/or business line expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization; business expertise is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Educational background & experience :

  • Master Bac+ 5
  • Strongly recommended: Management, Security, Engineering Certificates responding to any reports received from compliance or by regulation agency.
  • Bilingual including English (French is appreciated).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the function to be performed and with proven experience in management of teams.
