Established in 2007, the Alstom Foundation supports and funds projects proposed by Alstom employees who team up with local NGO partners and non-profit organizations to carry out initiatives aimed at improving living conditions in communities located near the Group's facilities and project sites around the world.

The Foundation’s projects focus on four axes: Mobility, Environmental Protection, Energy & Water, and Socio-Economic Development. Up to now, 333 projects have been supported by the Foundation in all the countries where Alstom has a presence.

The internship position, directly reporting to the Secretary General, plays a significant role in running the Alstom Foundation yearly cycle, starting with the call for projects and finishing with the selection of projects during the Foundation Board. He/She contributes to the good processing of the Foundation cycle and thereby to the image of the Foundation and external CSR positioning of Alstom.

The Foundation intern is in charge of supporting the Secretary General with the following responsibilities:

1. Analyze and synthesize projects submitted in XL file & PPT format in order to prepare the Pre-Selection Committee & the Foundation Board.
2. Participate in Communications when publishing Foundation News, Press Releases, etc.
3. Participate in exchanges with NGOs looking for information or as part of projects in execution.
4. Demonstrated ability to deliver on-time and efficiently with multiple stakeholders in a global environment despite workload.
5. Ability to analyze data and prepare powerful synthesis.
6. Autonomy in work organization, structure, rigor, and ability to network.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as the position will require managing contacts with various functions and levels in the company and writing in English and French.
8. Excellent level in the use of Office tools.
9. Experience in philanthropic/volunteering/CSR activities appreciated.

Contract and duration: 5 to 6 months internship
