Your Mission
We are looking for an intern to join the international finance team at BlaBlaCar. The team's mission is to ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial management while supporting informed decision-making within the company. As an International Financial Controller Intern, your role will be to support the team in daily activities, financial reporting, conduct financial analysis, and get involved in a wide range of projects. You will report to the International Finance Manager and work with a team of 3 people.

Your Responsibilities

1. Process invoices, handle payments, and manage financial records for our international entities (Brazil, Spain & Italy).
2. Support during monthly closing for international entities and prepare and analyze intercompany reconciliations.
3. Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
4. Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide support to financial controllers on specific ad hoc projects.

Your Qualifications

1. Student pursuing a Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
2. Proficiency in basic accounting principles, including understanding debits and credits, financial transactions, and familiarity with financial statements.
3. Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel/GSheets for data analysis and financial reports, including knowledge of functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
4. Effective communication abilities and good interpersonal skills.
5. Full working proficiency in English.
6. Fit with our BlaBlaPrinciples.
7. Nice to have:
8. Experience in treasury and Kyriba knowledge.
9. Knowledge of French or Portuguese.

Having an internship agreement from your school or university is mandatory. We won't be able to proceed with your application otherwise.
