Internal Auditor and Quality Control Manager – EIT Manufacturing

Full-time position at EIT Manufacturing located in one of our offices either in France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Greece.

About the position:

As our Internal Auditor and Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the internal audit function and ensuring adherence to quality standards within the organization. This role involves evaluating internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements while also implementing quality control measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in operations.

Missions and key Accountabilities:

Internal Audit:

• Develop and execute internal audit plans to assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls. Utilise synergies with regular external audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential improvement.
• Perform audits of financial records, operational procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations for senior management.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Quality Control:

• Establish and maintain quality control policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to standards.
• Conduct quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures to address quality issues.
• Train and educate employees on quality control standards and best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality assurance and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or ISO Lead Auditor are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, quality control, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and quality control methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Prior experience with publicly or European Commission funded programs (e.g. Horizon programs) is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
