Context:

ENGIE is committed to decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization, with a goal to achieve 10 GW BESS by 2030. BESS plays a crucial role in complementing renewable energy and balancing power grids. Role:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Engineer/Data Scientist Intern to join our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Digital Team. The intern will play a crucial role in building and testing advanced models to improve battery operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the optimization of energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and test advanced data models to enhance battery performance and operations.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into existing systems.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Conduct research on the latest advancements in data science and battery technology to inform model development.
• Document methodologies, processes, and results to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
