Within Symrise, the Taste, Nutrition and Health segment draws on its expertise and scientific research to offer its customers and partners unique, sustainable solutions based on natural ingredients in the fields of taste, nutrition and health. With over 100 sites in more than 40 countries, the segment serves the food and beverage industry, as well as pet food manufacturers and aquaculture.

The Pet Food division offers nutritional solutions for pets. Symrise Pet Food is the world leader in high value-added solutions to improve the well-being of cats and dogs and the satisfaction of their owners.

To study food acceptance, feeding behavior and interactions between owners and pets, the division has four centers of expertise with around 1,000 dogs and cats. Symrise Pet Food serves its customers from over 30 production sites worldwide.

Your Role

Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Enhance expertise in palatant enhancer production, application processes, and kibble extrusion.

Support subsidiaries and DPF services as a technical expert.

Lead pilot projects within your field.

Program & Project Management

1. Contribute to ideation and innovation to test new palatant enhancer production techniques.
2. Manage projects to boost performance, cut costs, and improve industrial efficiency (including safety and carbon footprint reduction).
3. Identify and collaborate with technical partners to explore new processes.
4. Conduct scientific monitoring and expand knowledge in kibble extrusion for holistic projects and Panelis facilities.
5. Oversee projects from conception to industrialization, ensuring risk assessments, feasibility studies, and process validation.
6. Provide technical expertise for new process implementation across R&D, industrial operations, and global subsidiaries.

Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Contribute to scientific publications and innovation protection.
2. Consolidate industry knowledge and best practices in industrial applications and production processes.
3. Act as a technical expert, supporting process troubleshooting and optimization.
4. Co-lead training programs within the application community.

External Engagement & Scientific Networking

1. Attend industry congresses and develop a strong technical and scientific network.
2. Foster strategic partnerships to drive innovation.
