As Innovation Portfolio and Analytics Lead within our Global Innovation & Portfolio Management team, your role will be crucial in driving the strategic direction of our product portfolio through advanced data analytics and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in portfolio management, data analytics, and a passion for leveraging data to drive innovation and growth.

Main responsibilities:

Data Analytics:

• Utilize advanced data analytics to generate insights on the innovation portfolio that drive strategic decision-making and innovation development.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor portfolio performance (pipeline value by brand/market, project size, project type), track performance against established KPIs and market trends.

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to evaluate the performance of innovation projects and identify trends, risks, and opportunities specific to the Opella pipeline and competitive landscape.

• Apply predictive analytics to forecast market needs and guide portfolio strategy.

Portfolio Management:

• Conduct regular portfolio reviews (by brand, by market) to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation development.

• Develop and manage the product portfolio strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.

• Orchestrate a balanced innovation portfolio, balancing top-line and bottom-line financial goals, short-term and long-term growth objectives, business protection needs, and scientific breakthrough/whitespace opportunities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize product development initiatives, allocate resources and manage the product lifecycle.

Innovation:

• Lead the development and execution of the innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.

• Identify and implement innovative analytical tools and methodologies to enhance portfolio management.

• Conduct competitive analysis and external benchmarking to inform innovation strategies.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, marketing, R&D, and finance teams.

• Present data-driven findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.

• Create visibility and adoption of the portfolio management approach across the organization and set a discipline of data-backed decision-making.

• Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance to senior management and stakeholders, with a focus on consumer healthcare innovations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management, data analytics, or a related role within the healthcare or consumer goods industry.

• Proven experience in innovation management and data analytics, preferably in the healthcare industry.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, PLANISWARE, Power BI).

• Proven track record of driving innovation through data analytics and managing complex projects.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of audiences.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
