Infrastructure Engineer

Job type : Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Strong Middleware Application Server and Web Server knowledge. Experience with at least two of the following products: IBM WebSphere ND / Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, Apache Web Server, Nginx.
• Strong knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, Maven, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in product engineering and administration, application development, and design patterns.
• Solid experience working closely with Middleware engineers, application architects, development teams, and operation hosting teams.
• In-depth understanding of JEE application security and SSL certificates.
• Strong background in dealing with application development teams and 3rd party vendors.
• Unix / Linux Operating System background with shell scripting required.
• Proficiency in scripting and task automation, especially Python, JSON, YAML.
• Previous experience with authentication using Siteminder (SSO) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Experience with Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in debugging, analytical, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Git / Bitbucket usage, and CI/CD build, operational experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Experience with automation tools for Middleware and application Quality Assurance.
• Proficiency with SQL queries and database technologies such as Oracle.
