The Chief Digital and Information Officer of SGSS is responsible for designing and implementing the digital transformation of SGSS in close relationship with the Executive Committee members of SGSS and the HPS CDIO. He/She directly reports to SGSS CEO.
The CDIO of SGSS is accountable for the execution of SGSS digital transformation that includes the modernization of SGSS IS&IT foundations. The CDIO is responsible for the modernization of the Information Systems of SGSS (ERP, CRM, MES, BI, Ecommerce…), to support the digital transformation of the business while staying cost-efficient and cybersecure.
In particular, he/she is driving the Go To Cloud strategy.
He/she leads the IT community of SGSS, especially the SGSS regional CIOs in close cooperation with the group IT teams (GDI, Indec, Indec 4.0…) and the HPS CDIO Core transformation.
As part of his CDO role, the CDIO of SGSS is responsible for helping the BUs transform their core business thanks to digital technologies with a particular focus on Digital Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Engagement.
He/she is accountable, with the help of the HPS digital champions community manager, for the animation of a network of the Digital Champions (local business people) ensuring they are properly accompanied and trained on the delivery methodology (3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months from idea to project for the digital initiatives) and tools (Digital HPS portal powered by AI).
For digital manufacturing, he/she is responsible, with the digital manufacturing practice of SGSS, for the deployment of digital twins on site to improve the local process in terms of performance, quality, availability, and sustainability.
Data transformation of SGSS: In 2024, HPS has launched a data mesh transformation to empower the business to take ownership of their data, end-to-end, and to be the catalyst of a data-driven business. This aims to create a more agile, responsive & efficient systemic approach regarding the design of data products to deliver concrete value to our business and our stakeholders.
The CDIO of SGSS, with the help of HPS data office, is accountable for the strategy and the rollout of this transformation within the business, leveraging SGSS cloud data platforms and HPS data portal that shows the BU data products.
