Primary Purpose:

Provide scientific expertise and leadership in a few specific scientific areas or for a few company products, to multiple corporate functions all along the product development process and product life cycle (from product opportunity assessment and pre-market activities to scientific communications and post-market activities).

What will be your responsibilities?

1. Keep up-to-date with scientific knowledge in designated specific areas in order to provide relevant expert advice to stakeholders within the company: e.g. marketing, R&D for all questions related to official validations/scientific affairs of our solutions; attend technical working groups, scientific committees in official certification bodies (AFNOR/Microval).
2. Attend some ISO standard working group committees.
3. Manage an external network of lab experts.
4. Be a preferred entry point in the company for specific scientific areas around certification/validations of bioMérieux solutions.
5. Provide scientific input to technical trials for official validations: identifying investigators and sites, writing and reviewing protocols, study monitoring and data analysis, presentations & publications of results.
6. Follow up on the budget dedicated to the certification activity.
7. Support the sales and marketing team in scientific presentations related to validations/certifications.
