Import Coordinator

About the role

Arkurb Asia Group is seeking a talented Import Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bali. As an Import Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the import process for our growing organisation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, international environment and contribute to the success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and manage the import process, ensuring timely and accurate clearance of goods through customs
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to optimise import operations
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation, including import declarations, invoices, and shipping documents
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to relevant internal and external parties
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the import process
• Stay up-to-date with changes in import regulations and procedures, and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to ensure the smooth flow of imported goods

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an import or customs clearance role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
• Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties
• Proficient in using import and logistics management software, as well as MS Office applications
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the job
• Familiarity with Bali's local import and customs landscape is highly desirable
