Lifemark is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, resourceful, and efficient Human Resources Coordinator to support our Lifemark Clinic Operations division.
Location: Remote with occasional meetings in Toronto
Status: Permanent Full-time
As an HR Coordinator with 1-2 years of experience, you will be a part of a dynamic, friendly team providing integral support for Lifemark's employees across Canada. In this busy yet fulfilling role, you will provide vital assistance to our employees and leaders with ongoing administration of various HR programs, policies, and initiatives. This will include providing support for items such as employment agreements, onboarding initiatives, employment changes, compensation, HRIS, and benefits.
A few other typical role accountabilities include:
- Promoting company culture, values, and positive working relationships.
- Maintaining the HRIS and Payroll system, ADP Workforce Now, with accurate employee and contractor data for the purposes of accurate payroll processing and supporting robust HR reporting requirements.
- Onboarding and new hire orientation to systems to ensure accuracy and a positive new hire experience, responding to new employee inquiries quickly and efficiently.
- Reviewing and reporting on new hire surveys to provide valuable feedback and input into evolving HR practices.
- Providing guidance and support to operations teams with HR-related functions.
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave of absences, policies, and other general questions.
- Maintaining knowledge of HR policies and Provincial/Federal employment legislation.
- Identifying best practices and helping implement improvements as required in systems or processes.
Key qualifications:- 1+ years of related Human Resources experience.
- University degree/College diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail; must demonstrate a sense of urgency & deliver quality outcomes.
- Displays self-motivation, independence, and will tackle new challenges with a positive attitude.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Establishes positive working relationships and works collaboratively with peers to resolve challenges and accomplish objectives.
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS system is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current employment legislation across provinces.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations is a very strong asset.
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities.
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
