As QHS Manager, under the responsibility of the General manager of the company, you plan, implement and coordinate preventive actions related to health and safety issues at work, with the objective of achieving zero accidents.
In a context of cultural transformation, you also play a key pedagogical role to engage all staff in this process of transformation.
You take the necessary actions to ensure that the company’s processes comply with ISO 9001 and implement those required to obtain 45001 and 14001 certifications.
Main responsibilities:
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and follow action programs related to prevention, health and safety of employees at work, and property security, and be able to adapt to make the necessary changes.
- Maintain health and safety compliance with applicable national and local regulations.
- Ensure compliance of the site with the group’s H&S policies and their application on site.
- Ensure proactive follow-up of incident reports and security prevention visits, especially in the effective implementation of identified actions.
- Communicate on the H&S performance of the site.
- Lead and advise on prevention and occupational health issues.
- Provide prevention and occupational health training to employees (initial and retraining), subcontractors and visitors.
- Perform H&S accident or incident analyses (root cause research, determination and follow-up of preventive and corrective actions).
- Participate in maintaining ISO 9001 certification.
- Implement the necessary actions to obtain ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications.
Profile and qualification:
- Engineering degree or master’s degree in health and safety prevention or any other related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the QHSE field, in an industrial environment or with a Security requirement of the same level (Building and public works).
- Experience in H&S audits and ISO certification, knowledge of standards.
- Experiences with continuous improvement tools (cause analysis, problem solving).
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships and win the cooperation of all staff in the company.

- Educator, diplomat and active listener.
- Analytical and synthesis skills.
- French mother tongue, regular use of professional English (oral and written).
