DESCRIPTION

Amazon MGM studios is the film and television production division of Amazon. Our role is to produce original content in the French language and enable its distribution worldwide. We are looking for those who want to build the future with us.

Our team oversees the launch of all original French content and sources the best content to meet the demand of our French subscribers.

We are looking for someone to oversee multiple projects in development or production, as well as a significant volume of meetings and submissions. This role will participate in sourcing and oversee all developments and productions of series and films reporting to the Head of French Originals.

This position will allow you to showcase your creative capabilities and maintain a network of creators. The role is based in Paris.

Amazon MGM Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to support the production of original content and licensing of studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.

Our team supports all local originals launches in France and helps source brilliant content to please our French customers. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, creative, and disruptive Head of Scripted and Movies to support our Scripted and Movies efforts in France.

You will oversee multiple projects in development and production, as well as a high volume of submissions and meetings. In this position, you will support the sourcing and oversee the development and execution of original scripted and movies productions, reporting into the Head of French Originals. This position will allow you to showcase your proven creative instincts developing and producing projects, as well as developed interpersonal skills and industry relationships. This position will be based in Paris.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Extensive experience in movie and/or scripted development
- Fluent in French and English (C1)
- Extensive experience as a producer or commissioner with an in-depth knowledge of the French Movie/TV landscape.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in media with an extensive network of creators, producers, writers, and talents.
- Familiarity with the world of SVOD and OTT.
