Descripción del empleo: With what results are the position supposed to contribute?

1. Leading the legal team, including ensuring that the team has the necessary resources, legal competences, organisational structures, cooperation, business understanding, etc., in order to deliver on the responsibilities.
2. Deliver high quality legal advice to the Statkraft BAs and SAs, having a thorough understanding of the business, relevant markets, the company and its organisation, objectives and strategies.
3. Use the understanding of the business, the company and relevant areas of law to proactively identify legal risks related to the matter at hand and legal risks affecting the Statkraft Group as a whole, and recommend measures mitigating such risks.
4. Manage relationships with external legal counsels.
5. Contributing to setting the policy of Corporate Legal within his/her area of specialization.
6. Lead the legal workstream in complex long-term projects with significant impact on Statkraft's operations.
7. Promoting observance of the Statkraft Way and internal SK-policies inside and outside Corporate Legal and taking part in development of documents.

Requisitos: Competence requirements

1. Excellent degree in Law, preferably with LL.M. (or equivalent).
2. 10+ years’ experience in commercial legal work from top tier law firms and/or in-house, with substantial international experience.
3. Strong knowledge of M&A, company law, energy regulatory law, contract law, litigation/arbitration and other relevant areas of law.
4. Recognition as a specialist in one or more of the above areas.
5. Experience of managing external law firms.
6. High proficiency in written and spoken English.

Información adicional: To provide high quality legal advice and legal risk management for the relevant clients and the Statkraft Group. To ensure good leadership of the legal counsels in the country and quality assurance of the legal advice provided by the team.
