Role Overview:

As the Head of Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our commercial applications within the Product Engineering division. Reporting to the Head of Product Engineering, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery process for application development and deployment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, client expectations, and operational excellence. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with key stakeholders, and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service Oriented architecture transformation:
2. Collaborate with Enterprise and Data architects to define the designs for a unified platform vision, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
3. Execute the delivery strategy to align with company objectives and client needs, with a particular focus on steering the transition from a product-oriented implementation to a service-oriented approach.
4. Establish scalable processes and frameworks for efficient delivery, embodying the vision of a unified, service-centric transformation. This will include driving initiatives to improve predictability across projects and deliverables.
5. Applications Care and Maintenance:
6. Oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of applications and services, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
7. Implement proactive monitoring and incident management strategies to minimize downtime and disruptions.
8. Collaborate with technical experts (such as the Chief information security officer) to plan and execute regular updates, enhancements, and patches.
9. Team Leadership and Management:
10. Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of 35 developers, Product Owners and technical experts (16 internal, the remaining is offshore).
11. Oversee resource allocation and performance.
12. Set bonus-oriented yearly objectives with end-of-year reviews.
13. Collaborate with HR to attract and retain top talent resources.
14. Stakeholder Engagement:
15. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, Product Management, the Data Operations team, as well as within the Product Engineering division (Head of Data, Head of QA) and the IT department (Infrastructure, Security, IT Business Operations).
16. Ensure clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
17. Process Optimization:
18. Implement and refine delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, DevOps) to improve efficiency and quality.
19. Monitor delivery performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Proven experience in a senior delivery or program management role, preferably in a data, technology, or software-driven organization.
2. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, SaFe) and modern delivery frameworks (CI/CD).
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical and business perspectives.
5. A results-driven mindset with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
6. Technical knowledge of data platforms and software development.
7. English is mandatory.
