As the Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and strengthening the global market position of emollients within BRB's overall strategy. In this role, you will drive market development by collaborating closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, and R&D. Your tasks are diverse and challenging, including market analysis, competitor research, and implementing targeted marketing initiatives to ensure our product offering meets market demands.

You will manage and optimize the product portfolio. This includes developing and implementing long-term strategies and annual plans to support the growth and development of the product range. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to strengthen our position. This includes gathering market intelligence and working closely with the sales team to develop targeted market strategies.

Furthermore, you will actively monitor sales figures and keep a close eye on key performance indicators (KPIs). You will ensure clear reporting and proactively communicate progress to management and other stakeholders. You will also develop and implement effective communication strategies, especially through social media. Additionally, you will ensure the creation of relevant promotion materials such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements, working closely with the marketing team.

You will be the point of contact for day-to-day requests and inquiries related to the product portfolio from both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure clear and prompt communication and seek solutions when necessary.

You will join the Business Development and Strategy team, reporting to the Global Market Head Personal & Home Care. In this versatile role, you will work closely with other departments like Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Production, Planning, and Quality Control.

For this position, we are looking for a senior professional who takes responsibility. Someone with a chemical background, preferably with additional qualifications in marketing or business management. You are customer-focused, identifying and seizing opportunities to make them happen.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective work in multicultural, international teams. You should have a proven track record in managing multiple and complex technical projects efficiently. As a person, you are someone who keeps their commitments and informs stakeholders about progress. You are a team player but can also work independently.

What else do you bring:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent level in Chemical Science
• At least 5 years of experience in the cosmetic industry and with functional ingredients
• Expertise in emollients used in personal care is a plus
• Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential
• Willingness to travel
