Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions (Veolia WTS) is seeking a Global Product Line Director to lead our Cooling CSM (Chemical Solutions and Monitoring) portfolio.

At the core of this position is a profound understanding of Cooling CSM. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in chemical treatment products and monitoring systems for cooling applications. Your knowledge will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing product performance, and addressing the complex challenges customers face in cooling water management.

As the Global Product Line Director, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to keep our cooling solutions at the forefront of the industry. You'll orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across regions, guiding product development, technology launches, and efficiency improvements.

Your strategy will be crucial in analyzing market trends, enhancing customer engagement, and driving profitability while upholding our commitment to sustainability.

What are the Day-to-Day Duties

1. Develop and own the global cooling product line strategy and vision
2. Chair the product line global centre of excellence (COE)
3. Engage with customers and industry to gather market intelligence
4. Manage ROI for core projects and investments
5. Govern projects and product management KPIs
6. Own NPI projects and present at growth boards
7. Support product launch processes and marketing collateral development
8. Contribute to price book setting and margin improvement initiatives
9. Drive direct material productivity improvement and cost optimization
10. Ensure EHS and ethical standards are maintained

Qualifications:

Preferred skills and experience

1. Extensive experience in product management, sales, or marketing within the cooling water treatment industry, ideally in Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM)
2. Proven track record in creating and executing strategic visions for product lines, including lifecycle management and profitability analysis
3. Strong understanding of cooling system chemistry, water treatment technologies, and monitoring systems
4. Experience in developing and managing chemical treatment products
5. Success in leading cross-functional teams to develop and launch new solutions
6. Outstanding communication abilities with experience presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences
7. Experience working with diverse global teams in the water treatment sector
8. Commercial acumen, ideally built within the cooling water treatment business, including pricing strategies and market positioning
9. In-depth knowledge of global customers and competitors in the cooling water treatment industry
10. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental considerations
11. Ideally a degree or equivalent industry experience in chemical engineering, chemistry, or MBA
